I wanted to ask you whether Ahmadi women are allowed to involve themselves into local organizations? It is the way you carry it, you are allowed to participate in all spheres of human activity, provided you fulfill the conditions laid upon you from the moral side and the obligations from the religious side.
At the time of Prophet Muhammad, even his wives who were expected to hold purdah doubly strong than ordinary ladies of that time, they participated during the time of war without hiding their face and sometimes even the parts of their body, legs, etc. were open to the view of even the enemy. And that was permitted on those conditions in certain circumstances. And Hazrat Aisha is known to have participated in large scale national struggle and he is known to have addressed large gatherings of men. And all her life she is known to have answered questions put to her by various people, men or women alike.
So providing you keep those models in mind and do not transgress the limits in the name of social activities, you are permitted. But if in the name of social activities you are carried away and instead of belonging to us, you ultimately begin to belong to them, the other side, and you are overwhelmed by their influences, then you are a total loss to us.
