What time period does the Quran refer to when it says “And the Messenger will say, `O my Lord, my people indeed treated this Qur’an as a discarded thing” (25:31) ?

Have you, you have not read it in the context, this is, this refers to a situation which would arise in future and some interpreters have referred this to the day of resurrection, that on Yawmul Qiyamah Allah would tell, Rasul would tell Allah or complain against some of his people that who left the Holy Quran. Now what is the time? That has not been mentioned clearly but it pertains to the future. But a tradition of the Holy Prophet clearly tells us that this is going to happen in the latter days before the descent of Messiah or coming of Messiah.
