Why don’t Ahmadis raise their hands after prayer like some other Muslims do?

The fact is that Ahmadis believe that Islam was perfected At the time of Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu alaihi wa sallam and during his lifetime All that was needed by man by way of demonstration of Islam was done and Completed by Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu alaihi wa sallam So all the ways and rights which are religious have been Demonstrated and left as a complete code of life by Huzoor-e-Arqam sallallahu alaihi wa sallam After that if any Mullah or any Pir Invents something to add to Islam We reject it entirely and totally Because in perfection you can’t add anything Nor can you deduct anything from perfection Unless you make it ugly.

So all such efforts Which are apparently to renovate Islam are totally wrong and false and against the principle Mentioned in the verse. So all the traditions or rites found today among the Muslims I should say of all the rites and traditions found today among the Muslims we accept only those Of which we find authority from Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu alaihi wa sallam himself And reject all those Who have no root or authority In his time.

So many things have been invented later on Except for some exceptions During the life during the time of Khilafat-e-Rashida and Khulafa-e-Rashidin also derived their authority from Huzoor-e-Arqam sallallahu alaihi wa sallam But their decisions were Their decisions belong to Exigencies of transient nature Still even they Were not authorized to issue permanent orders Every Khalifa had a right to issue orders pertaining to his time But apart from that exception We do not believe in anything Invented by way of beautifying Islam By the people of later ages So this we don’t find in Islam What we find is this that Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu alaihi wa sallam when he finished his prayer according to Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa R.A And according to many other Sahaba Companions who related this matter he would sit there only until But only for a period in which one could say Let’s see Tabarakta yazal Antallamma antas salam wa minkas salam Tabarakta yazal jalali wal ikram Or another Type of zikr.

These zikrs have been mentioned variously by Sahaba differently so that is the time only for which he stayed after prayer, and then he left the mosque and They do not mention his habit of raising the hands. If that was so good, why didn’t he himself do it? So this is why we don’t do it. But if somebody after the prayer Requested him to pray for a certain cause or for himself He would lift his hands and would not hesitate to pray. That is different and that is exactly what we do
