No, no, I understand that explanation, but I don’t personally accept that, because in my opinion, fluency may have set in, and particularly the way one is crucified in this position, it is much more likely that the pleural surfaces would be injured. And because of pleurisy, water would also collect.
So anybody whose pleura is in a state of inflammation, if it’s not a regular pleurisy, even then, if the pleural surface is in a state of inflammation, it would definitely ooze out water. And if a person is pierced to the point of pleura, then not only water, blood would also gush out. And that must have happened.
