Do the children of a moosi have to pay on any inheritance they receive from that parent ?

Uzo, this question is handed over to me by our brother Khalifa Safiuddin and when I asked him why didn’t he ask himself, he says I have elaichi in my mouth, so that’s why I can’t speak. I see. So the question is when a moosi dies and he leaves certain amount of money for his children, after paying his wasiyat, do the children have to pay chanda aam on the amount they have received from their father when the children are not earning dependents?

No, they are never known to have, that is not the practice. When you inherit something, you don’t pay chanda on that inheritance, unless that is employed and then you begin to have earning, from then on, from that earning you pay chanda.
