Huzoor (rh): You know these are very minute details. Allah is not like that, that He goes on measuring the moment you stand before Allah. He measures whether the center of the palm was on that point or not. These are absurdities as far as the attitude of God is concerned. All that goes, that is accepted by Him is an attitude of respect. Respect to Him and to His Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). So as you understand the Holy Prophet used to do, you should try sincerely to behave in that fashion. But that does not mean that you should start measuring things and hold a measuring meter in your hand and see where this should be fixed. Once I remember Hazrat Musleh Maud got annoyed at somebody who kept on bothering him about what size the beard should be. So having got fed up he said look here I can’t make Ahmadi Amirs etc. to keep a rod in their pocket, measuring rod. So that whenever an Ahmadi enters they should just stick that rod into the beard and see whether it is according to the standard or not. These minor details should not be paid too much attention to. Behave in the best manner as you understand and that is enough.
