Questioner: Huzoor, there is a saying of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that do not be proud of Yunus. Yunus ibn Matta.
Huzoor (rh): Yes.
Questioner: And there is an ayah from the Holy Qur’an about Khataman Nabiyeen.
Huzoor (rh): Right.
Questioner: Was this ayah announced after that saying?
Huzoor (rh): Of course it was.
Questioner: And how many years after?
Huzoor (rh): Some years. It was in 1905 that this verse was revealed and that saying ofHuzoor, peace be upon him, belongs to a much earlier period. I think it was Makki. That’s what the tradition is.
