How can one practically follow the saying of Muhammad that states, “A person can’t be a true believer unless he desires for his brothers (in faith) that which he desires for himself ” ?

Huzoor, I am quoting one hadith which is in Urdu. Could you kindly explain because this small hadith covers a lot of ground. What? This small hadith covers a lot of ground. Yes. There is a lot of importance in this hadith, spiritually and physically. Yes. Could you kindly explain, please? You explain. Huzoor, I would like to know. What has caught your eye? Tell me. Huzoor, for an average person, it is very impracticable, really. This is the way I was thinking.

Huzoor, for an average person, it is very impracticable, really. This is the way I was thinking. Master, you should explain further. Supposing I have only a small car. I cannot afford to give a similar car to my brother. Yes. I cannot participate. But still you can desire. What does the hadith say? Does it say you part with your property and give it to your brothers? Huzoor, it doesn’t. Read it again.

First translate it into English and then we will discuss it later on. Could you please translate it? No, no, no. That is your job. I swear by the One who has taken my life, I cannot be a true believer. No, no. Translate it bit by bit. Otherwise it will be difficult for you to do it. Individual cannot become a perfect believer. Yes. Unless he prefers exactly the same thing for others, what he prefers for himself. Yes. So, still you can’t prefer for others the same. Desire, in fact, this is… Huzoor, in spiritual life it is easier to… No, no. Why can’t you desire others to have the same car as yours?

I mean, I can’t understand this problem at all. If you are happy with your car, then I mean. Not if you are fed up with your car. I agree with you, sir, but… Could you kindly explain this further? Pardon? Could you kindly explain this? I have explained. Oh, I see.
