Q. Huzoor, when Allah reveals to his beloved people, and in this question I am referring to one of your kursh which you had, As-salamu alaykum, is it that Allah eventually gives you the promise of saving you from all the problems or any mishap? A. Well, it depends, you know, mainly what is occupying your mind in those days, particularly. In fact this happened once before, before Khilafat, that there was something of concern. During the early days of People’s Party regimes, because of their policies, there was a concern about certain community affairs in which I and some others were also involved.
So during those days I was extremely worried and praying that, and there was every possibility that not only some ill could come our way, but there could also be some loss of Jamaat’s property and things. The danger was both to the individuals involved in certain things, but also the Jamaat’s property was in jeopardy. So I was praying and the indications were, not only indications, there were definite reports from the centre that the government has decided to strike here. So one night while before sleeping I was praying and I was sitting on the right hand, I mean on the right side in that angle, when suddenly I heard a very softly spoken voice, but very clear, and it was speaking in my ear and saying the same words, As-Salaam-Alaikum, three times. That voice was not recognisable in the sense that I could attribute to some known person. This time it was Mirza Muzaffar Ahmad Sahib, who definitely it was his voice, and it was so clear that there was no shadow of doubt whatsoever and very loud voice it was.
But that time it was just a voice, but it was so loving and so soft, and so very clear that when this voice spoke to me, next morning I told all my colleagues, I said if you are worried, continue to do so. As far as I am concerned, I am quite certain and positive, nothing can happen. Absolutely it’s impossible from now on for any agency to do us harm. And it was, later on the events appeared, as they appeared, it was almost impossible how they happened, but all the people who were concerned, they came out being unscathed, totally. And no harm came the way of Jamaat’s property either.
So from that experience I know that when it is said, it is, at least it applies to the major concern which you have in mind. I remember in those days, the thing which was most bothering me was the plan of the non-Ahmadi mullahs to capture Ahmadiyya mosques one after the other and to invade them. And the incident of this Sahiwal also occurred during those days, I don’t exactly remember. I’ll have to refer to the dates of those events, whether As-Salaam-Alaikum was just before that or after that, but that was my major concern. And again, if you look back from that time onward, not a single mosque was taken over or captured. Now after hearing this tape, if some vicious person wants to disprove this and do it intentionally, I don’t know whether Allah will permit him or not.
But this application of As-Salaam-Alaikum is witnessed very clearly. While previously they used to enter the mosques and desecrate them and also do some harm here and there, and even mosques were burnt, but since that time, all our mosques were saved by Allah and no harm came their way. So number one, it might be applicable to that particular region of my worries. But I should not limit it to that alone.
I feel and I hope that it was a general message from Allah, because apart from this particular concern, we lived, all of us, under a constant pressure about Jama’at safety. So it was a message from that regard about the whole of the Jama’at and the community safety, that whatever may happen, Inshallah, Allah will save you and see you through. So in that regard, it has a broader aspect and I hope Inshallah, in both these regards, it will come true.
