Or the well-educated non-Ahmadis, scholars, professors, doctors, etc. in Pakistan in favor of the way the Maulvis are persecuting the Ahmadis? Not at all. The question is that all, are all the educated Pakistanis, outside Ahmadis of course, who are like doctors and other professionals, engineers and so on, do they agree and do they favor what the Maulvis are doing in Pakistan today? Of course not. I received daily reports that the whole society is abhorrent of what is happening, but they are completely helpless.
After all there is dictatorship, this fact should not be forgotten by the West. What is happening in Pakistan is a dictatorship and they know it, everybody knows it. So the dictatorship means people are helpless, they can’t raise their voices and this is why you can’t hear them in our favor at all. But this time the atrocity has crossed such limits as even the non-Ahmadis have started speaking in our favor, like some political leaders who would not have dared earlier to raise their voice in favor of Ahmadiyat.
But now, for example, the Secretary General of NAP has come out with a very strong censure of the government’s measures and also the MRD leader, Mr. Khairuddin, has spoken very strongly against it, he’s called it completely inhuman and very dangerous for Pakistan. So the cruelty has reached a limit where our previous enemies, even our previous enemies are compelled to speak out in our favor under a strong dictatorship. That is the beauty of the thing. They are doing it not just in ordinary circumstances, but they are daring it under a dictatorship. That means that the level of prosecution and persecution must have gone very, very high.
