Why is it not permissible to combine all five daily prayers?

Huzoor (rh):No, there is no why about it? the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) did say five prayers together during the Battle of Ahzab. But that was because he was involved in a worship. Jihad is a worship. As Prayer is a worship. He was engaged in another worship, not his own worldly affairs or personal matters, which would not permit him time to say prayer. Still he was very sad at missing the five times prayer at their own respective times. And that is the one instance where he is known to have cursed his enemies just for this reason. That today they have been so cruel to us that not to give us time to say our prayers in time. So this is the importance of prayer as told to us, as exhibited to us, illustrated to us by Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa

(صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ). So to say lightly that if you can say two prayers together, why not five? That is completely missing the point. Intentionally if you lose a single prayer, you are answerable. But if through compulsion you miss even five, you are not answerable.
