Are non-Muslims permitted to enter Mecca?

Huzoor (rh): Nowhere in the Holy Qur’an, even remotely, it is mentioned that non-Muslims are not permitted to enter Mecca. Because after this verse, even the idolaters lived in Mecca and visited the Prophet (sa) and held their discussions. During his stay, short stay of course it was, but during his stay at Mecca, for a while after the victory over Mecca, after the conquest of Mecca, and even after he returned to Medina, Mecca was frequented by all the tribes without any distinction of their belonging to Islam or to an idolatry religion or paganism. So this is all just a later invention of the dark ages of Islam
